Margarida Saruga Cardoso

Margarida Saruga Cardoso is a seasoned professional in the field of human resources, currently serving as a People Expert in the People & Organizational Development Global Unit at EDP since December 2021. With experience in talent and succession management, performance management, and leadership development strategy, Margarida also holds the role of Internal Communication Focal Point. Prior to EDP, Margarida worked as a Talent Advisor & Learning Specialist at Unilever, where leadership in recruitment, employer branding, and diversity and inclusion initiatives was demonstrated. Further experience includes roles as a Talent Acquisition Consultant at Novabase, a recruitment assistant intern at Deloitte, and a human resources assistant intern at EDP. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, both from ISCTE Business School, alongside a solid foundational education in economics.
