Nishita Chheda

Nishita Chheda is an experienced education designer currently working at Education Design Lab since July 2021, with prior roles as Senior Associate and Associate Education Designer at XCredit. Nishita's background includes a fellowship at The Centre for Urban Pedagogy, focusing on anti-oppressive design practices, and a design research internship at Women's World Banking, where customer insights were synthesized to develop inclusive financial products for women. Additional experience includes serving as a design researcher for the educational initiative 100 Tasks and communication strategist for organizations like The Climate Museum and the School of Visual Arts. Nishita holds a Master of Fine Arts in Design for Social Innovation from the School of Visual Arts and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Mumbai, complemented by a Graduate Diploma in Communication Design from the Indian School of Design and Innovation, Parsons.
