Kevin Nielsen has extensive experience in educational organization and union leadership, currently serving as an Organizer/Field Staff at Education Minnesota since December 2014. Prior to this role, Kevin held various positions including Floor Supervisor at Tommy Bahama, where exceptional sales and management skills were demonstrated, and the UniServ Program/Training Director at the Center for Teaching Excellence, overseeing operations and professional development initiatives. Kevin's background includes significant roles as UniServ Director for the Clark County Education Association and the Louisiana Association of Educators, focusing on membership growth, leadership training, and member representation. Kevin began a career in education as an elementary school teacher after earning a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of South Dakota and a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas.
