EducationPlus
Lisa Thompson is an experienced equity consultant currently working with Equity Works! since January 2022, where customization of immersive DEI experiences for various organizations is a primary focus. Concurrently, Lisa serves as a Missouri Leadership Development Specialist at EducationPlus, leading professional learning for school leaders and supporting improvement efforts in underperforming schools. Previously, Lisa was the head principal at Moline Elementary School within the Riverview Gardens School District, transforming a previously failing school into the recognized Bayer School of Excellence in 2018. Earlier roles included assistant principal and staff development facilitator in Parkway Schools, where DEI program development and support for students were emphasized. Lisa's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
