Jacques van der Merwe is an accomplished marketing professional with extensive experience in shopper marketing and brand strategy. Currently serving as Head of Shopper Marketing at Edward Snell & Co Ltd since July 2016, Jacques focuses on optimizing commercial excellence and translating brand strategies into actionable plans to enhance customer perceptions and behavior. Previous roles include Brand Manager for the Brown Spirits Portfolio, where innovative marketing strategies were implemented, and Senior Brand Strategist positions at Saatchi & Saatchi BrandsRock and BRANDSROCK GROUP. Jacques holds a Higher Diploma in Integrated Marketing Communications from AAA School of Advertising, a Professional Diploma in Digital Marketing from Brandschool, and a Finance qualification from Stellenbosch Business School, along with a certificate in effective retail marketing.
