Shrojal Desai, PhD, PMP, and AIMBE-Fellow, currently serves as Vice President of R&D at Edwards Lifesciences, leading a Center of Excellence in Polymers and Medical Textiles since October 2020. In addition, Shrojal holds the position of Senior Director - Engineering and Advisor at Noleus Technologies, providing guidance on product development and regulatory strategies. Prior experience includes a tenure at Johnson & Johnson as Senior Director and Head of Preclinical Research & Operations for Medical Devices, where Shrojal successfully integrated and improved a team of over 60 staff members. Shrojal's background also includes significant roles at ICU Medical, Pfizer, Boston Scientific, and prestigious academic positions focused on polymers and biomedical applications, backed by a comprehensive educational foundation in Polymer Science, Materials Engineering, and Organic Chemistry from respected institutions.
