Simon Sun

Simon Sun is an experienced engineering professional with a robust background in supplier development and procurement. Currently serving as the Director of Supplier Development Engineering at Edwards Lifesciences since August 2014, Simon leads a technical team to advance manufacturing processes for cutting-edge transcatheter heart valve and aortic replacement platforms. Previous roles at Edwards encompass various managerial positions focused on supplier development strategies, engineering activities for new product development, and supplier relationship management. Prior to joining Edwards, Simon worked as a Senior Procurement Specialist at GLOBALFOUNDRIES and held teaching assistant positions in finance and modeling at Cornell University, where Simon also earned a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor of Sciences in Operations Research & Information Engineering.
