Carol Merrill

Carol Merrill is an experienced English Second Language Instructor at EF Education First since January 2019, with a notable background in freelance journalism for Corrales Comment since September 2000, where interviews and reports highlight the local community. Merrill has authored two books on artist Georgia O'Keeffe, leveraging experiences as a caregiver and staff member from 1973 to 1979. A dedicated educator, Merrill served as a teacher and librarian in both Bernalillo and Albuquerque Public Schools, and as a TESOL teacher at Qu Fu Teacher's College. Education includes a Master's degree in TESOL from the University of New Mexico and a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from the University of Tulsa. Merrill also contributed as a volunteer librarian at Ghost Ranch from 2011 to 2013.
