Kenneth Unfried has extensive work experience in various industries and roles. Kenneth has held positions such as Director Global Business Development for Specialty Products at EFC Gases & Advanced Materials since 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Linde Americas from 2011 to 2020, where they served as Head Electric Propulsion, Head Environmental Standards Sales, and Assistant Manager Rare Gases. Kenneth also worked as an Adjunct Professor at Sacred Heart University and Fairfield University from 2008 to 2011. Before that, they were a Teacher at Ridgefield High School from 2004 to 2011. Kenneth has worked as a Chemistry Consultant from 2003 to 2011. Kenneth also has experience at Solvay Interox, where they served in various roles including Regional Manager Sales and Technical Service, Product Manager and Manager of Health, Safety and Environment, Technical Representative, Applications Research and Development Chemist, and Product and Process Development Chemist from 1991 to 2003. Additionally, Kenneth had a summer internship at Wolff Walsrode (Bayer) in 1987 and a summer internship at Baltimore Gas and Electric from 1984 to 1986.
Kenneth Unfried completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry at Principia College from 1983 to 1986. Kenneth then pursued further education and obtained their PhD in Chemistry from Rice University from 1987 to 1991.
