Dan Troutman

Dan Troutman currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Research and Development and Engineering at Johnson Technologies, Inc., a position held since June 2023. Prior to this, Dan Troutman was the Global Vice President of R&D for the Food and Commercial Division and Dymo at Newell Brands from January 2015 to January 2023, where a focus on product development and innovation was paramount. Dan Troutman also held key roles at Cross Match Technologies, where responsibilities included leading global hardware business lines and operational engineering activities. Previous experience at Motorola involved overseeing product development for mobile devices and managing the launch of the company’s first open operating system smartphone. Early career beginnings included a role as a Design Engineer at AT&T. Dan Troutman holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Miami and an MBA in International Business from Florida International University.
