Hussein Ahmed Gad, CMA, is a seasoned professional in risk management with extensive experience in the banking sector. Currently serving as the Corporate Risk Group Head at EGBANK since July 2023, Hussein previously held various positions related to credit risk, including Senior Credit Risk Manager and Risk Area Head at the National Bank of Kuwait from December 2020 to June 2023, and Corporate Credit Risk Manager at Arab Bank from December 2019 to November 2020. Additional roles include Credit Risk Assistant Manager at Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait - Egypt, Senior Credit Officer at Banque Misr, and Retail Credit Analyst at the National Bank of Egypt. Hussein holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance from Cairo University, obtained from 2007 to 2011.

EGBANK was established in 1981, under the investment law 43/1974 and its amendments. EGBANK’s main founders are; Salah Mahmoud, Gawad Bu Khamseen, Fahd El Shobokshy, Abdel Rahman El Sharbatly and Misr Insurance, who had a vision of establishing an Egyptian bank to serve and support the developmental projects in Egypt and the Arab countries.
