Patrick Daum has an extensive work experience in the sports industry. Patrick started their career at IFM International (now Nielsen Sports) in 2007 as a Consultant, working until 2010. Patrick then joined IFM North America (now Nielsen Sports) as a Consultant in 2008. In 2012, they moved to Lagardère Sports, where they held positions as Manager Strategic Projects and later as Director Strategic Projects until 2016. Patrick then joined Nielsen as Director Consulting (Sports Industry) in 2016 and worked until 2019. Currently, they are the Head of International Business Development at Eintracht Frankfurt.
Patrick Daum completed their education at two institutions. From 2004 to 2007, they attended SRH Hochschule Heidelberg, where they obtained a Diplom Betriebswirt degree in Sports Management. Thereafter, from 2010 to 2012, they enrolled at London South Bank University and earned a Master's degree in International Business Strategy.

It was founded on 1 July 2000 and is headed by a management board consisting of Axel Hellmann, Oliver Frankenbach, Markus Krösche and Philipp Reschke. The management board is overseen by a supervisory board, headed by Philip Holzer. The listed sports club Eintracht e.V. offers over 50 different sports. It has more than 110,000 members (June 2022).
