Aideen O'Hagan is a Grid Code Engineer at EirGrid Group since September 2022, specializing in Operations Development and Compliance. Previously, Aideen completed a graduate development program at EirGrid, taking on various roles, including graduate engineer positions in Network Projects Ireland, Power Systems Insight & Research, and System Operations, contributing to major projects and initiatives such as the 'CleanerGrid' competition and emergency preparedness for the National Control Centre. Aideen also interned at EirGrid in 2021 as part of the Network Projects Team, focusing on upgrading electrical infrastructure. Prior experience includes working as a restaurant and function waitress at Lakeside Hotel Killaloe from December 2018 to March 2021. Aideen holds a BEng (Hons) in Renewable & Electrical Energy Engineering from Limerick Institute of Technology, completed in 2022.
