Kieran French is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in electrical and electronics engineering. Currently serving as the Celtic Interconnector Engineering and Interface Manager at EirGrid since February 2019, Kieran previously held the role of Commissioning Project Manager at TLI Group, responsible for leading electrical operational activities for substations. Throughout a prior tenure at EirGrid from 2010 to 2017, Kieran worked in various capacities, including Electricity National Control Centre Transmission Relief Engineer and Senior Lead Transmission Engineer, overseeing the real-time operation of the Irish Transmission system and ensuring compliance with international standards. Kieran's career began at National Grid from 2007 to 2010, where responsibilities included project management and fault analysis as a Development Engineer and Protection Engineer. Kieran graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering degree from University College Cork in 2005.
