Pasi Fränti is a Professor at the University of Eastern Finland, a position held since 2000. In 2008, Pasi Fränti served as an Opponent at Tampere University of Technology. Prior to these roles, Pasi Fränti was a Post-doctoral researcher at the Academy of Finland from 1996 to 1999 and worked as an Assistant at the University of Turku from 1992 to 1995. Pasi Fränti obtained a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Turku during 1992-1994 and earlier earned an MSc in Computer Science from the same institution between 1987 and 1991.
