Ekos
Daniel Mitchem has a diverse work experience in the beer industry. Daniel started their career in 2015 as a Senior Draught Technician at CBG Draft Services. Daniel then moved on to work at Legion Brewing Company, where they held multiple roles including Sensory & Education, Brewhouse, Distribution Manager/Production, and Delivery Manager. During their time at Legion Brewing, they focused on sensory panels, beer education, cellar work, packaging, brewing, and sour & barrel aging. Daniel also ensured accurate record-keeping and reporting. In 2019, Daniel ventured into entrepreneurship and became the Owner/Manager of Unbidden Beer. Daniel currently works as a Taproom Manager at Devil's Logic Brewing Company, and starting in 2022, they also work as a Tech Support Specialist at Ekos.
Daniel Mitchem attended Bluefield College from 2002 to 2004, studying music. However, they did not complete their degree. In addition to their college experience, Daniel obtained certifications as a Certified Cicerone from the Cicerone® Certification Program. Daniel received this certification in August 2017.
