Ryan Farris

Ryan Farris is an accomplished professional in the field of biomedical engineering and mechanical design, currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Biomedical Engineering at Messiah University since July 2021. Farris also holds the position of Principal Advisor at Ekso Bionics since December 2022 and contributes as an Adjunct Faculty member at Cleveland State University since January 2014. Prior experience includes roles at Parker Hannifin, where Farris advanced from Principal Engineer to Engineering Manager, and with various consulting positions focusing on electromechanical systems and mechanical design. Farris's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science and Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Vanderbilt University, followed by a Doctor of Philosophy in the same field, complemented by an MIT Entrepreneurship Certificate.
