Samar Desai has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. They started their career as a Training Officer in Education & Skill Development from 2002 to 2005. They then moved on to Naval Dockyard, where they served as a Senior Manager from 2009 to 2014, overseeing projects and managing a large civilian workforce. Currently, they hold various roles at ElasticRun, including Director Of Operations from 2017 to 2022, Senior Director from 2022 to present, and Vice President (Operations) from 2023. In these positions, they have been responsible for developing operational strategies, managing business relationships, and ensuring efficient workflows.
Samar Desai has a Bachelor's Degree in marine/mechanical engineering from Naval College Of Engineering. INS Shivaji, which they obtained from 1993 to 1997. They also have an Associate's Degree in science from ICL College, Navi Mumbai, which they received from 1991 to 1993. In 2006, Samar obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies. Additionally, they completed an IT Managers Course from CMS COMPUTERS in 2005. Samar attended Modern School, Navi Mumbai for their high school education from 1987 to 1991. They also completed the General Management Program from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad in 2017.
