Daniel M. Wells

Daniel M. (Dan) Wells is a seasoned professional in the field of nuclear fuels and chemistry with extensive experience since joining EPRI in September 2010 as Director of Fuels and Chemistry. In this role, Wells focuses on the development and implementation of research and development priorities, financial success, and team deployment within the Chemistry, Decommissioning, and Radiation Safety Programs of the EPRI Nuclear Sector. Prior positions at EPRI include Senior Program Manager, Program Manager, Senior Technical Leader, Senior Project Manager, and Project Manager, emphasizing expertise in nuclear fuel, water chemistry, and radiation safety. Before EPRI, Wells served as Project Engineer at Radiological Solutions, Inc., and gained research experience at Northwestern University, ExxonMobil Process Research, and Auburn University, earning a Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry from Northwestern University and a BChE in Chemical Engineering from Auburn University.
