Shangar Ramasamy

Shangar Ramasamy is an experienced geophysicist with a comprehensive professional background in electromagnetic surveys and geophysical data processing. Currently serving as a Field Geophysicist at Electromagnetic Geoservices ASA since June 2021, Ramasamy previously held the position of Senior Field Geophysicist at the same company from October 2018 to July 2020. Prior to these roles, Ramasamy worked as a Technical Sales Manager at Tetrachem Enviro Sdn Bhd and has extensive experience in sales management and field operations, including positions at EMGS ASA and Schlumberger. Ramasamy holds a Master’s degree in Petroleum Geology from Universiti Malaya and a Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Chemistry from Universiti Putra Malaysia.
