Carlos Asensio Pizarro has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Carlos started their career as an Editor at Difoosion, contributing to a technology blog. Carlos then co-founded Wabiu software developers.sl, where they served as a Co-founder and gained entrepreneurial experience. Carlos also worked as a Developer at eventd and later pursued higher education as a Student at Universiteit Utrecht.
Moving towards their professional career advancements, Carlos joined Universidad Autonoma de Madrid as an Investigador Asociado, conducting research work. Carlos then transitioned to the role of CEO at HandBe, where they demonstrated leadership and management skills.
In 2017, Carlos joined Xesol Innovation as a Computer Vision & Machine Learning Senior developer. Carlos focused on developing algorithms for projects such as Drivox industrial and xStreet, both of which involved computer vision solutions for automotive challenges. Additionally, Carlos participated in several biometric projects during their tenure at Xesol Innovation.
Currently, Carlos is working at Electronic IDentification (eID) as a Computer Vision Algorithm Senior Engineer, beginning their role in May 2020.
Carlos Asensio Pizarro has a strong background in computer sciences and engineering. Carlos began their education at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, where they completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences and Engineering from 2008 to 2012. During this time, they also pursued an additional degree in Informática Biomédica, completing a Master's degree in I2-TIC from 2013 to 2014 at the same institution.
Carlos also had the opportunity to study abroad as an Erasmus Student at Utrecht University in 2011 and 2012. Here, they gained valuable experience and expanded their knowledge in the field of computer sciences.
