John Macdonald is a seasoned executive and board member with extensive experience in the energy and technology sectors. As a Member of the Board of Advisors at Watsco, Inc. and a Board Member at Electrovaya, John contributes to advancements in sustainable energy solutions, particularly in lithium-ion battery technology. Currently serving as Chair of the Board of Directors at Parity, a Canadian proptech company employing AI to minimize energy waste, John has held significant leadership roles, including President & CEO at Enercare Inc. and President & CEO of Telecom at Hydro One. John also has a background in marketing and product management from prior positions at MTS Allstream and Nortel Networks. John holds a B.A.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toronto.
