Mohamed Fakier has a background in product management and analysis. Mohamed started their career as a Graduate Analyst at Internet Solutions in February 2011 and later became an Associate Product Manager, where they assisted with the running of the Wholesale ADSL portfolio and various analytical tasks. In 2013, they joined MWEB as an Associate Product Manager and was responsible for the day-to-day running and commercial sustainability of different products and services. Mohamed also took a leading role in product roll-outs and enhancements. In 2014, they were promoted to Product Manager at MWEB and continued to successfully manage their product portfolio until December 2021. In 2022, they joined Electrum as a Product Manager (Commercial).
Mohamed Fakier completed their Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) Honours degree in Information Systems from the University of the Western Cape. Mohamed pursued this degree from 2007 to 2010.
