Thijs van Bommel

Thijs Van Bommel has extensive experience in the healthcare industry, currently serving as VP Global Marketing and Sales for both Linac and MR-Linac Solutions at Elekta since January 2013. In this role, Thijs is also the Managing Director of Elekta Benelux, overseeing sales and service operations in the region. Prior to Elekta, Thijs was with Philips Healthcare from January 2000 to January 2013, where responsibilities included Sales Director for the Netherlands and District Manager managing the southern region's sales and service organization. Thijs holds a degree in Bedrijfseconomie from Fontys University of Applied Sciences and has pursued additional education at De Haagse Hogeschool and Topjaar Management.
