Benedikt Hilpisch

Benedikt Hilpisch is a New Technology Engineer at EKZ since August 2021, previously serving as a Praktikum im Bereich Smart Grid / Smart Energy at EKZ from February to November 2020. In the earlier role, Benedikt developed Python/Flask web applications in the Google Cloud App Engine, programmed Matlab GUI tools, analyzed load profiles using Python, and created a mobile app for media installations in innovation exhibition spaces. Benedikt served as a Hilfsassistent at ETH Zürich's Laboratory for Energy Conversion in early 2018, focusing on data collection related to the geographic distribution of economic activities in Europe. A Praktikum in Windkraft and Photovoltaik at solarcomplex AG occurred in mid-2014, where Benedikt created site plans, maintained project databases, and supported technical staff in monitoring photovoltaic systems. Benedikt holds a Master of Science in Energy Science and Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from ETH Zürich, and completed the Abitur at Hochrhein-Gymnasium.
