David White

David White is a Scientist II in Biophysics at Element Biosciences, with extensive experience in research and development. Prior to this role, David served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where predictive models of protein-RNA interactions were developed, and a 3-color micro-mirror TIRF system was managed, along with the supervision of graduate students. As a Graduate Research Assistant, David focused on single-molecule technologies related to human pacemaker ion channels, leading to 4 first-author publications. Previous consulting work at WiSolve involved assessing AI-based medical software viability and providing investment recommendations. David's earlier experience includes leadership roles in academic support and undergraduate research in organometallic complexes, complemented by a PhD in Neuroscience and dual Bachelor's degrees in Biochemistry and Chemical Biology, and Psychology from Wayne State University.
