Jessica Winger

Jessica Winger is a proficient scientist with extensive experience in process development within the biotechnological field. Currently serving as a Senior Scientist at Element Biosciences since October 2021, previous roles include Scientist II and Scientist I in Process Development at Omniome and a Postdoctoral Researcher at Johns Hopkins University. Notable achievements include discovering a novel ratchet mechanism, expanding laboratory scope to include dynamic protein-nucleic acid analysis, and mentoring PhD students. Jessica has also contributed to academia as a Course Instructor, co-designing a biology course for undergraduates. Additional experience includes a Research Associate position at LS9, Inc., where process optimization and automation resulted in significant time savings. Jessica holds a PhD in Biology from The Johns Hopkins University and a BA in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of California, Berkeley.
