Shoney Katz is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in portfolio management and investment strategies. Currently serving as a Portfolio Manager at Element Capital Management since November 2021, Katz previously held significant roles, including Managing Director at SUVRETTA CAPITAL MANAGEMENT LLC and Portfolio Manager at Surveyor Capital. Katz's career began after earning a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Rice University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Additional experience includes senior positions at SAC Capital, Newcastle Capital Management, The Carlyle Group, AEA Investors LP, and Bain & Company, showcasing a strong background in investment analysis and management.
