Tom leads Element Consulting, which provides consulting and services to large organisations implementing Element and Matrix. He works to bring secure, decentralised, open source communication to the world by helping Element’s partners realise the power of Matrix within their communities and businesses. Tom has a MEng in Software Engineering from the University of Southampton.

Element is a Matrix-based end-to-end encrypted messenger and collaboration app. It’s decentralised so that users can be digitally sovereign (own and control their own data).
