Kiran Mathews has a wealth of work experience, beginning in 2008 as a volunteer in the EKG/ECHO Departments of Scripps Memorial Hospital. In 2010, they were a Senior Design Team Member at UC San Diego and a Lab Assistant at the Center for Neural Engineering, University of Utah. In 2011, they were a Graduate Research Assistant at the Center for Neural Engineering, University of Utah, and in 2012 they were a Teaching Assistant for Physiology for Engineers at the University of Utah. From 2013-2020, they were a Biomechanical Engineer/Lead Test Engineer at L3Harris Technologies, and in 2020 they were a Senior Clinical Research Engineer at Invicta Medical. Currently, they are a Manager and Associate Manager of Clinical Engineering at Element Science, Inc.

Kiran Mathews obtained their B.S. degree in Bioengineering from UC San Diego between 2007 and 2011. Kiran then went on to obtain their M.S. degree in Bioengineering from the University of Utah between 2011 and 2013.
