Rob F. has worked in the software quality engineering field since 1995. Rob began as a Programmer Analyst II at International House at UC Berkeley, where they implemented and supported IPX/SPX networked PC desktops, servers and peripherals. Rob then moved to First Databank (FDB) in 1997, where they created and supported pharmaceutical databases for hospitals and pharmacy's. In 2008, they joined Robert Bosch Healthcare as a Sr. SQA Engineer/E3, where they authored and executed test plans/cases for class II medical device(s) and web apps. In 2015, they became a Sr. Software QA Supervisor at Proteus Digital Health, Inc., where they tested and supported PCBA's, BLE, FW, Embedded Systems, HW, SW, GUI/mobile & clinical script tools. In 2020, Rob F. joined Nephrosant, Inc. as a Sr. Software Quality Assurance Engineer, where they authored and executed test execution reports for Analyzer-LIMS software and supported SW/commercial launch for R&D/CLIA lab-automation and Customer Service. Rob is currently employed as a Sr. Software Quality Engineer at Element Science, Inc. since 2022.
Rob F. completed a Bachelor of Science in Business (Information Computing Systems) from San Francisco State University. Rob also attended Cañada College and Skyline College. Rob F. has obtained various certifications, including Selenium Essential Training from LinkedIn in June 2020, Learning Selenium from LinkedIn in May 2020, Introducing Postman from LinkedIn in April 2020, Introduction to AWS for Non-Engineers: 1 Cloud Concepts (2019) from LinkedIn in April 2020, Complete Python Scripting for Automation from Udemy in March 2020, and an Amateur Radio License from the Federal Communications Commission in June 2014.
