Matt Mitchell is a seasoned professional in intellectual property management, currently serving as the Senior IP Manager at Element Six since January 2015, where Matt oversees the IP function and portfolio for the CVD business. Prior to this role, Matt was a Partner and Patent Attorney at Marks & Clerk from November 2005 to December 2014, specializing in oil and gas, telecommunications, electronics, and software inventions. Matt began the career as a Patent Attorney at Franks & Co from January 2002 to October 2005 and also held the position of Principal Technologist at Morgan Materials Technology in 2001. Matt holds a PhD in Material Science and Engineering from The University of Sheffield, attained from 1992 to 1998.
