Andrew Chan is a Structural Engineer in Training with comprehensive experience in residential and commercial structural design, particularly in mass timber, CLT, and glulam construction. Currently employed at Element5 since May 2023, Andrew has previously worked at Tacoma Engineers Inc. focusing on a mix of residential and industrial projects, as well as at Mott MacDonald where Andrew gained expertise in reinforced concrete design and project stakeholder coordination. Earlier experience includes a project scheduling and cost management internship at Ontario Power Generation, alongside various roles in customer service and data analysis. Andrew is pursuing a Master of Engineering in Structural Engineering at the University of Toronto, building upon the foundational knowledge acquired through a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from McMaster University.
