Maria Calpito, P.Eng. is a seasoned quality management professional with extensive experience in various engineering roles across multiple industries. Currently serving as the Director of Quality at Element5, Maria is responsible for developing and maintaining the E5 Quality Management System, leading audits, and ensuring product quality and compliance with customer requirements. Prior to this, Maria held significant positions at The Original Cakerie, including Quality Assurance Supervisor and Industrial Engineer, where responsibilities encompassed quality control, HACCP management, lab oversight, and process improvement initiatives. Previous roles include Process Engineer at Valeant Pharmaceuticals, Manufacturing Supervisor at Integrated Device Technology Philippines Inc, and Production Engineer at Fuji Electric Philippines Inc. Maria holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Engineering from Colegio de San Juan de Letran.
