Jessicah Hurtado

Jessicah Hurtado serves as the Chief Executive Officer of SPED Savvy since March 2023, focusing on empowering special education teachers through coaching, courses, and resources. Concurrently, Jessicah has been a Special Education Teacher at Elevate K-12 since December 2022, responsible for creating inclusive learning environments and individualized support for students. Previous experiences include roles as a department lead of special education at Grand Prairie ISD, where Jessicah provided instructional leadership and ensured compliance with legal guidelines, and as a community education specialist at Denton County Friends of the Family. Jessicah holds an Education Specialist degree in K-12 Leadership from Grand Canyon University, a Master of Arts in Women's Studies from Texas Woman's University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Spelman College.
