Katherine Shannon

Katherine Shannon currently serves as the Site Head at ElevateBio, a position held since February 2025. Prior to this role, Katherine held multiple senior director positions at Thermo Fisher Scientific from May 2021 to January 2025, overseeing manufacturing technology and engineering innovation across five manufacturing sites in North America and Europe. Katherine led the Global Engineering function at Brammer Bio from January 2017 to April 2019, managing capital portfolio, project engineering, and engineering standards. Previous experience includes roles at Biogen and Sanofi Pasteur, focusing on automation and process engineering. Katherine earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Lehigh University and a Master of Engineering in Engineering Management from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
