Dana Baranovsky has a diverse work experience in the marketing, cannabis, and food sectors. Dana is currently a Marketing Manager at Elevated Signals since April 2023, where they previously worked as a Marketing Associate from April 2022 to June 2023. Prior to that, Dana founded Totallyblunt.ca, a wellness blog focused on cannabis and health education, from April 2020 to April 2022. Dana also worked at CannDelta Inc. as an Associate Consultant from November 2020 to March 2022, managing client projects and providing expert guidance in the cannabis, psychedelics, and NHP space. Dana's experience at Green Relief includes roles as a Regulatory Affairs Manager from May 2020 to November 2020, where they managed all regulatory activities and assisted in product launches, and as a Regulatory Affairs and Special Projects Associate from June 2019 to May 2020, conducting regulatory due diligence and developing new business opportunities. Dana started their career at Bioenterprise Corporation Canada, where they held positions such as Senior Analyst, Food and Food Systems from September 2018 to June 2019, Analyst from September 2017 to September 2018, and Student Analyst from February 2017 to August 2017. At Bioenterprise, Dana was responsible for business development, account management, and market analysis in the food and natural health product sectors, including the identification of the cannabis sector as a new market opportunity. Lastly, Dana worked as a Supplements Specialist at Goodness Me! Natural Food Market from July 2015 to February 2017, where they effectively communicated the benefits of natural health products to consumers and informed store leadership about consumer trends.
Dana Baranovsky obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Nutritional and Nutraceutical Sciences (NANS) from the University of Guelph, where they studied from 2012 to 2016. Dana further pursued their education at the same university, completing their Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Human Health and Nutritional Sciences from 2016 to 2017. In 2020, Dana attended The Michener Institute for the Cannabis Educator Certificate Program.
