Marnie Mogford currently serves as a Marketing Operations Specialist at ELGA Credit Union since April 2023, following a position as Marketing Outreach Manager at MCA, Inc. from June 2021 to March 2023. Prior experience includes a role as Marketing Specialist at Kettering University, where responsibilities involved project management for university marketing initiatives, as well as creating integrated marketing plans aimed at enhancing student engagement. Marnie also has experience in administrative roles, including serving as an Executive Assistant Office Manager at Kettering University and working as a Laboratory Data Entry Clerk at McLaren Flint. Marnie holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Business Administration and Management from Northwood University, an Associate's degree in General Studies, and an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Business Management from Mott Community College.

ELGA Credit Union had a humble beginning, helping Consumers Energy employees that were paid below the average of other industrial workers in the 1940’s and 50’s. ELGA got its name from a contest held in 1959 to rename the credit union, replacing the previous name, Flint Division Consumers Power Company Federal Credit Union. The name incorporates the first two letters of Electrical and Gas. ELGA Credit Union has 11 branches in Genesee, Lapeer, and Saginaw counties, as well as robust online banking for computers, smart phones and tablets. We have over 30,000 surcharge-free ATMs available to you at our branches, inside Flint's Hurley and McLaren hospitals, and through the Money Pass or CO-OP Networks.
