Kris Hallaert is a seasoned professional in IT security with extensive experience in the field. Currently serving as the Head of IT Security for Elia Group since October 2010, Kris has held multiple roles including IT Security Officer for Elia BE and Head of Elia Group IT Security Operations. Prior to joining Elia, Kris worked at Dexia Bank Belgium from June 1996 to October 2010, where responsibilities included IT Security Officer, Project Leader, Functional Analyst, and Technical Designer. Kris holds a degree in Latin Mathematics from Katholieke Hogeschool Leuven, completed between 1993 and 1996, and attended Sint-Leo College Brugge from 1984 to 1990.
