Shanna Jacobs has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Shanna began their career as a stagaire at Kleenmaid/demeyere in 1999. In 2005, they worked as an Assistante commerçiale at Expansys Nomatica. Then, in 2006, they joined Young Executive Recruitment as a Recruiter. Shanna later moved on to Proximus in 2007, where they held various roles including HR Specialist Resourcing and Selection, HR Recruitment Manager Backoffice, Learning and Development Manager, HR Manager- Learning and Development, and Recruitment Manager. Shanna then transitioned to Elia in 2017 as the Recruitment & Employer Branding Manager and later became the Head of Learning and Development.

Shanna Jacobs has a diverse education history. In 2003, they pursued a one-year Erasmus program in Political Science at the Universidade de Coimbra. Shanna then went on to complete a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Politics at the University of Antwerp from 2000 to 2004. In 2005, they earned a Master's degree in Labor and Industrial Relations from the Université catholique de Louvain. Recently, in 2023, Shanna expanded their educational qualifications by attending INSEAD, where they obtained a degree in Change Management through their Leading Successful Change program.
