Heather McLeod

Heather McLeod, CPHR, serves as a Human Resources Generalist at Elk Island Public Schools since June 2019, providing strategic HR consulting including recruitment, learning and development, and collective bargaining. Prior to this role, Heather held positions as a Human Resources Business Partner with the Government of Alberta’s Public Service Commission and Department of Energy, offering comprehensive HR support in organizational design, workforce planning, and employee engagement. At Stantec, Heather worked as a Senior Consultant in Global Talent Development, contributing to talent management and leadership development initiatives, and also served in various HR roles, including Organizational Development Analyst and Human Resources Coordinator. Heather’s educational background includes training from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology and leadership development programs, equipping Heather with vital skills in communication and leadership.
