Shishir Udani, CFA has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several companies. Shishir began their career at Wachovia Securities in 1996, where they worked in equities and equity derivatives trading until 2001. Shishir then moved on to roles as an analyst at Advanced Equities, an options strategist at OptionHotline, and a research intern at The Michel-Shaked Group. In 2003, they worked as a graduate assistant and equity research associate at Boston University. Following that, they joined RiskMetrics Group as a senior risk management consultant from 2004 to 2008. At Monsoon Capital, they held the position of risk manager from 2008 to 2009. Currently, they are employed at Elliott Investment Management L.P., where they serve as the managing director and head of strategic capital since 2010.
Shishir Udani, CFA obtained an MBA in Finance from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University from 2002 to 2004. Prior to that, they earned a BS in Finance from Northern Illinois University between 1992 and 1996. Shishir has also obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification from the CFA Institute.
