Matthew Kilgore has a solid work experience history. Matthew started as a Graduate student at the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center in 2010 and finished in 2015. Later on, they worked at Purdue University as a Postdoctoral Research Associate from 2016 to 2017. In 2017, they joined Emory University as an Assistant Scientist until 2019. Matthew then became an ORISE fellow at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention from 2019 to 2022. Currently, they work as a Scientist at Elo Life Systems from June 2022.
Matthew Kilgore completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Botany/Plant Biology at Eastern Kentucky University from 2006 to 2010. Subsequently, they pursued further education and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Plant Sciences from Washington University in St. Louis, where they studied from 2010 to 2015.
