Randy Williams, Ph.D., serves as the Vice President and Associate Provost for Inclusive Excellence and Associate Professor of Education at Elon University since June 2014, where responsibilities include providing vision and leadership for diversity initiatives. Prior experience includes roles at North Carolina Wesleyan College, where Randy held the positions of Associate Vice President for Campus Engagement and Assistant Professor, and Vice President for Student Affairs at the College of William and Mary. Earlier career experiences encompass administrative and teaching roles in higher education and secondary education, including a focus on student affairs and instructional leadership. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Educational Policy, Planning and Leadership from The College of William and Mary and a Master’s in Counseling from Longwood University, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from Hampden-Sydney College.
