Rebecca Kohn

Provost & VP, Academic Affairs at Elon University

Rebecca Kohn serves as the Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs at Elon University since January 2023, offering intellectual leadership across academic departments and multi-disciplinary programs while promoting academic excellence aligned with the Boldly Elon strategic plan for 2030. Prior to this role, Kohn held multiple positions at Arcadia University from July 2017 to December 2022, including Senior Vice Provost and Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences. Kohn's academic career began at Ursinus College, where responsibilities included Assistant Dean of Academic Affairs and various faculty roles from August 1999 to June 2017. Additionally, Kohn was a Fulbright Fellow at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile in 2007 and has experience as a research scientist at the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation. Educationally, Kohn earned an A.B. in Biochemistry from Dartmouth College and a Ph.D. in Biology from The Johns Hopkins University.
