ELSA (European Law Students'​ Association) is the world's largest independent law students'​ association. ELSA is an international, non-political, non-profit-making organisation run by and for students. 

ELSA operates primarily through its local groups, which are located at nearly 350 universities throughout 45 countries in Europe. ELSA Ankara is one of these 350 local groups of ELSA.
