Jaana Karekki

Jaana Karekki is a seasoned communications professional with a career spanning over 40 years. Currently serving as the Group Communications Officer at Eltel since January 2016, Karekki is responsible for operational communication tasks and strategic planning, managing projects such as the Annual and Sustainability Reports, and supporting communication colleagues across multiple countries. Prior experience includes roles as Communications Assistant at Eltel Networks, Management and Communications Assistant at Johtotec Oy, and various administrative positions at IVO Transmission Engineering Ltd and IVO Power Engineering Ltd. Karekki possesses a strong background in internal and external communications, project management, and content design, complemented by an education from the Management Institute of Finland and a high school degree from Pohjois-Haagan yhteiskoulu.
