Jeremy Bennett

Founder and Chief Executive at Embecosm

Jeremy Bennett is the Chief Executive of Embecosm, which Jeremy founded in April 2008 to develop embedded software development tools. Jeremy is also the Chair of the Software Task Group at OpenHW Group, a not-for-profit organization focused on open-source hardware and software development. Additionally, Jeremy serves as the Vice Chair of the Embench Task Group, working on a modern embedded benchmark suite. With a background in various leadership roles in companies like ARC International and Marconi plc, Jeremy has a strong foundation in both technology and business. Jeremy has also held academic positions at the University of Bath and has a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge.

We develop compiler tool chains and operating systems for the smallest deeply embedded processors through to the largest high performance computer systems. Embecosm is also one of the world's leading organizations for research in to compiler technology. Our specialities include machine learning compilers, superoptimization, security enhanced compilers and compilers optimized to generate energy efficient code.
