Amrutha Palavalli is a Postdoctoral Researcher at EMBL since February 2023, with previous experience as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Multidisciplinary Sciences from November 2020 to November 2022, focusing on Kleiber’s law in relation to animal metabolism. Amrutha completed a PhD in Developmental Biology at Aix-Marseille University, where research involved initiating a new research line in Prof. Thomas Lecuit's lab. Earlier roles include a Research Assistant position at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Pune, where a project centered on measuring neuronal forces, and a Master's student role at Agharkar Research Institute in Pune, India, studying ceramide transport proteins at the neuromuscular junction in Drosophila. Amrutha holds a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from Fergusson College and a Master's degree from Vellore Institute of Technology.
