Josephine Brysting

Josephine Brysting is currently a PhD Fellow at EMBL, focusing on molecular medicine since October 2021. Josephine has gained valuable experience in venture capital through roles as a Senior Venture Fellow at Health Innovation Capital, where research involved pediatric oncology investment pipelines, and a Summer Intern at Sound Bioventures, supporting fund strategy research. Previous positions include Senior Research Associate at CERo Therapeutics, overseeing pre-clinical production of gene-modified cell therapies, and Business Development Intern at Charles River Laboratories. Josephine's academic background includes a PhD program at Heidelberg University, a Professional Scientific Masters from the University of San Francisco, and a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from Loughborough University. Additionally, Josephine is recognized as a former NCAA Division 1 athlete in track and field and cross country.
